ACD2422

Managing recipe changeovers without pausing the production line is the most critical factor directly affecting plant capacity in industrial feed manufacturing. The ACD2422 Double Deck Cooler, representing the pinnacle of Atlas Yem engineering, maximizes your production speed by reaching a massive throughput of 28-35 Tons per hour (28-35 T/H). ATLAS Feed counter-flow pellet coolers are meticulously used to cool pelletized products and bring them almost to the optimum ambient temperature without causing thermal shock. The product is cooled by drawing air through the fan, and thanks to the dual-layer structure within the system, there is absolute no need to stop the pellet press during ration changes. Maintaining energy efficiency with a total motor power of 4.4 KW, this unit offers uninterrupted operation even under heavy-duty conditions. Its double-hopper architecture completely prevents the mixing of different feed formulas, ensuring zero cross-contamination. From the moment it is integrated into your facility, the ACD2422 optimizes shift durations and preserves the physical integrity of the pellets through high-flow air circulation. Designed for the feed mills of the future with a rational approach, this technology provides a sharp and reliable solution to boost your operational profitability.

The secret to quality and shelf life in feed mills lies in extracting the heat and moisture from the core of the pellets in a controlled manner without degrading their structure. Atlas Feed Milling Technology counter-flow pellet coolers are actively used to cool the pelletized products and bring them almost to the optimum ambient temperature. During this process, the product is cooled gently by drawing air through the fan with high vacuum power. In the ACD2422 model, the hot product is continuously fed into the cooling chamber through the air lock, which provides a guaranteed seal against pressure loss.

The greatest operational advantage of the double deck structure is that while the previous product is being cooled and discharged in the lower layer, the upper layer continues to accumulate the new ration. The product is cooled effectively by drawing air through the upper conical air inlet, ensuring equal cooling rates for pellets on both decks. The smooth discharge of the cooled product into the outlet hopper is perfectly ensured by the grate discharge system specially developed by Atlas Yem. This mechanism gently evacuates the pellets without breaking them or causing friction, keeping the Pellet Durability Index (PDI) at the highest level. The double deck architecture eliminates speed bottlenecks while the smooth air fluidity eradicates the risk of mold. The ACD2422 is a revolutionary cooling center that guarantees purity during transitions.
