Managing raw material traffic without dust and loss in professional feed production is the cornerstone of plant efficiency. Atlas Yem Tube Screw systems provide uninterrupted flow even with the most challenging products, thanks to their pitch (screw interval) geometry and high-strength shaft structure optimized according to material characteristics. Screw augers are used for horizontal filling and discharging of grain; in this process, the tube body structure completely cuts off the product's contact with the external environment, eliminating moisture and contamination risks. The flexibility of being possible to manufacture between 10 Tons/Hour - 150 Tons/Hour according to the plant capacity makes the unit a rational solution partner for facilities of all scales.
The high-quality and long-lasting leaves, the heart of the unit, are smoothed to minimize friction. This rational approach prevents material wear and significantly reduces energy consumption by lightening the load on the motor. Atlas Yem’s direct coupled reducer connection technology maximizes operational efficiency by eliminating energy losses and maintenance difficulties found in belt-pulley systems. Dust-tight bearing points and advanced seal systems bring indoor hygiene to international standards. Fully adapting to your factory's capacity increases and different rational formulas, these units are the sharpest definition of durability in material transport.
A tube screw conveyor is a conveying system in which the screw flight rotates inside an enclosed, pipe-shaped housing. Thanks to its enclosed structure, material does not spill and no dust is released into the environment. In feed mills, it is widely used to convey grain, ground raw materials and powdered products.
The motor and gearbox unit rotates the screw shaft inside the tube housing. The screw flights on the shaft take the material from the inlet and push it towards the outlet. In addition to horizontal conveying, a tube screw conveyor can also be used for inclined conveying at certain angles.
The Atlas Yem tube screw product group includes the ATS14, ATS16, ATS22, ATS27 and ATS32 models for different diameter and capacity needs. When choosing a model, the type of material to be conveyed, hourly capacity and conveying distance are taken into account.
A tube screw conveyor has an enclosed, cylindrical housing. A U-trough screw conveyor consists of an openable trough housing with a top cover. The tube screw stands out for dust-free and inclined conveying, while the U-trough screw is better for horizontal conveying and points that need easy maintenance.
When choosing a tube screw conveyor, hourly capacity, conveying distance, inclination angle and material density should be evaluated together. In addition, the screw flight dimensions, namely diameter, pitch and sheet thickness, should be chosen according to the abrasiveness of the material. For spare parts, see our screw flight page.
