The Vibro Sieve is a strategic separation technology used to purify pelleted or crumbled feed from unwanted dust and fines before packaging. Engineered by Atlas Yem, this system flawlessly classifies the product by size, guaranteeing the quality of the feed reaching the end-user and maintaining high PDI (Pellet Durability Index) standards.
Known in the industry as a vibrating screen or pellet screener, this unit utilizes linear vibration motors to ensure even product distribution across the screen surface. This technology performs gentle sifting without damaging the granule structure. Atlas Yem vibro sieves are particularly effective at recapturing dust generated after the cooling process (fines recycling), thereby preventing raw material waste.
The body structure is isolated to prevent vibration transmission to the floor, supported by heavy-duty springs and a robust chassis. With multi-deck options, you can simultaneously separate products of different sizes (e.g., fines, crumbles, pellets, and coarse particles) within a single unit. The quick-change screen frames and dust-tight sealing gaskets increase operational efficiency while minimizing maintenance downtime.
A vibro sieve is a screening machine that separates the product by size using the vibration generated by vibration motors. In feed mills, it is used especially after pelleting and cooling to separate dust and fines from the product. This preserves the quality of the packaged feed and pellet durability.
The product fed into the vibro sieve machine spreads evenly over the screen surface thanks to vibration. While dust and fines smaller than the screen openings pass to the lower deck, the product of the desired size moves along the screen and is collected from a separate outlet. Multi-deck vibro sieve models can produce more than one size class at the same time.
The Atlas Yem vibro sieve product group includes the AVS1502 and AVS3004 models for different capacity needs. When choosing a model, hourly production capacity, product type and the number of sizes to be separated are taken into account.
In a feed production line, the vibro sieve is usually positioned at the pellet cooler outlet and before packaging. The separated dust and fines are sent back to the pelleting line, preventing raw material loss. It can also be used for particle control after grinding and for classifying granular products.
When choosing a vibro sieve, the granule size of the product, hourly capacity, number of screen decks and screen surface dimensions should be evaluated together. Quick-change screen frames and a dust-tight body shorten maintenance time and keep the working environment clean.
